From Tragedy to Transformation: Our Shared Responsibility

Once upon a time, I took a similar oath. I try to behave like a human being and it hurts me terribly to see what is happening today in the 21st century in the whole world and especially in the city/country where I was born.

Let’s stop and ask ourselves…

It may sound familiar, but I believe it works if we all sincerely dedicate ourselves to it, by understanding and living the words that are written down.

“Today, as a human being, I pledge: that I will respect my parents, younger and older, be a faithful and honest brother, sister, friend, neighbor and colleague, who keeps my word;
That I will diligently study, work and share my knowledge and experiences;
That I will love and actively contribute to the sustainable development of the community in which I live. That I will encourage and develop a fair and correct relationship in society by my example. That I will appreciate all the people of the world who stand for peace and freedom.”
